Amazon FireTV Stick

This is the second generation FireTV with faster processing, full HD, and it ships with the FireTV Voice Remote.  The improved performance from the faster processor creates more heat.  Thermals are a constant challenge.  We investigated multiple ways to get rid of the heat without making ID changes.  We investigated multiple new form factors.  Based on the incredible success of the 1st generation of FireTV Stick, we chose to accept the increase of device size and maintain the overall ID intent.

The second generation enjoys the same success as the first.  This past Christmas, it exceeded volume expectations and sold out.  It currently has more than 21k reviews on Amazon with an average of 4.5 stars.
